It's been a while since I last attended conventions, and like I said before in my previous posts, there are conventions that this time - I wouldn't miss it for the world!




First was the Toycon this year... I love looking at the old and new generation of cosplayers that are still active and passionate until now.

And of course, I admire tons of collectibles that were bought from collectors of different faces - from the youngest to the oldest.




Next was the 1st Metro Comic Con wherein tons of cosplayers and toys again (even PM Jay bought lots of stuff - in which he had commented he was bankrupt), and of course, comics and their artists everywhere! I'm not that updated anymore in the local comics, however I smiled by just seeing Pol Medina Jr. and his famous Pugad Baboy works that even made my strict Dad (a retired Philippine Navy officer) to laugh and be amused at his satirical form of writings.




e-Games Domination III - the event wherein we had successful and smooth programs and activities conducted for ZXOnline, and had tons of fun time with colleagues, friends, gamers, and cosplayers alike.

These are my top 3 so far - since I get to costrip during these events. Hopefully, our ZX Grand EB this August 29 at SM Manila will be a total blast! The prizes for the cosplay contest are sooooo cool! See you there! ^_~

After a long day in SMX Convention filled with all Pinoys supporting their country, of course, and also enjoying the said Ran Global Tournament.

I was there to help out again, in merchandise, selling all kinds of Ran GT souvenirs, and also since I'm also studying photography these days, I borrowed a DSLR from my former colleague and friend, and also became a photographer awhile ago. I helped out also one of my friends back in my 'WeAreAnime' days, Ana, with her first-time field photography for Mangaholix.

I was also the information center of all e-Games staff, where to find them, etc. XD~

At first, we all thought heaven and hell have decided to twist the fate of Ran Philippines Team. The first 2 matches were lost, but suddenly gained so much by winning 3 consecutive matches! Thus, enabling them to go into semi-finals up to championship.

Let's skip a few parts where everyone was watching, screaming themselves hoarse, and cheering for the team by shouting Laban Pinas!

The championships is best of 5, wherein they tied on the 4th battle, where everyone was already cheering so loudly on the final match - in which Team Philippines won, and for my fave moments, was they took out 2 of the opponents' characters at once: Double PK!

· Only 8 players are qualified to enter on each category; once the slots are filled in and your level are OK for the category, the registration will be closed. Registration ends on 16 July 2008, Wednesday.

Mechanics:
1. All terms and conditions of IAHGames Passport apply. This tournament is open for all servers.
2. This will be a 1 versus 1 match. Players are not allowed to join in multiple PVP categories.
3. Players will be using their own accounts given that they've abide by the pre-requirements. They can choose the characters depending on the level requirement.
4. Each player can use any consumables.
5. Players are to meet at the PvP Officer of the city that was provided by the Game Masters.
6. There will be an allotment of 10 minutes for preparation and 5 minutes for the match.
8. The team to successfully eliminate all 3 characters of the opposing team will be pronounced the winner for that match.
9. In case of a “draw,” both teams will be required to play a “sudden death match.” Players are not allowed to change their character setup. First team to score a character-kill will be the winner of the match.
10. Warnings will be given for team displaying unsportsmanship behavior or not abiding by the rules and/or listening to the GMs. There will be disqualifications who will receive 3 warnings and/or exploitation of any bugs and intentional disconnections during the match.

The GE PH Attendance sheet went beyond than what we've expected, and for this, we are truly grateful!

I saw lots of girl gamers in our booth that day - so I made lots of shameless plugs for them to come on the 2nd Girl Gamer Gathering.

The tournament was crowded with avid GE players as well - 8 teams of 2 passed on the registration cutoff time. And a nice round of teasing and handshaking for every round definitely made my day as well. It's as if I feel like home, I don't know why. ^^

A lot of players bought their boxes and Bellem cards that day. Thanks to the ones who purchased! Hope you guys enjoy your Emilia the Sage and Item of the Month.

Cagayan de Oro - City of Golden Friendship

When we were about to land on CDO, I've noticed that there were lots of mountains just like in Baguio - and it was cool to see that we've landed on top of a mountain where the CDO airport lies.


The Limketkai Mall was like a version of Greenhills, Greenbelt, and Glorietta all-in-one. The Atrium, in which we held the 5th leg of the Globe Summer Gimik Games event, was so huge! Plus, we fell in-love with the waterfall backdrop~ ^^


Our activities were pretty much the same, plus of course a GE presentation with my own amateur video XD~ And I've also judge the Audition dance battle again, plus managing to get pictures of the events like some crazy paparazzi.

Reunion of the GE PH team? Yup, Amelia™ and Hush of Cervantes that represented Cagayan de Oro during the Zouk Raid Party, and also the Liberty match during commercial launch at Esplanade. We had photo-op at the Globe booth and I'm thankful for the gift of yummy pastels again~ I feel so loved! XP~


The Clash of the Pioneers ended early, and so we invited lots of new players to join the freeplay. Lots of peeps from Carracci and Vivaldi were present during the event.


And they made me sing with the battle of the band champions as entertainment, I don't even know if I did well, but everyone was waving during my singing. LOLz~ This was the most unforgettable experience in CDO - and yes, hopefully this would be my last encore. XD~

After the scheduled maintenance, the GE IAH team announced a 150% increase EXP (adding up 50% from the recent EXP event) till next Thursday.

Your Combat Manuals will be stacked and added up to the EXP rate. So manual's EXP + EXP rate event = lotsa EXP to gain~ (depending on the rate of the manual you purchased i.e. beginner, average and expert)

Faction Celebrations
Eminence of Carracci had their respective Faction Leader Nostradamus visit here in the Philippines and joined their PH members for a dinner in Greenbelt. Unfortunately, I was in Bacolod, so I had to pass. My apologies, and a big thanks on the invite. ^_^
